Allied Resistance is a conscious movement with the aim and purpose to abolish the Prison Industrial Complex as we see it, to educate the masses about the social conditions affecting the entire human family, to attack racism at its root, to provide progressive, constructive, productive, and rehabilitative opportunities for our prisoners, whom in this land of the so-called "free" now number 2 million men, women, and children.

AR! seeks to reach out to our youth in our streets, to help them become assets instead of liabilities. Uncle Sam wants them in prison where they can generate up to 40 thousand a year, or fighting in Sam's unjust wars of Imperialist Conquest and exploitation.

We want something better for our men, women, and children. We want better for all third world peoples and this is why we encourage you to ARISE! Take part in the movement in anyway you know how. Be it writing, singing, drawing, thinking, teaching, learning, agitating... Just as long as you ARISE!

The Anarchist Black Cross Network is a decentralized and egalitarian network of organizations committed to the original ideals of the Anarchist Black Cross movement -- of seeing prisons and the poverty, racism and genocide that accompanies them to be symptoms of a social order whose last days are near.

From country to country and state to state, figures are staggering, but the facts remain the same: Third World/indigenous/people of color and the working class and poor are forced into existences in which communities are gentrified; in which they are targeted over race and class or worse if they are "illegal" immigrants or refugees; health care, child care, food and rents go out of reach in costs; and their "choices" are nothing more than setups to lock them away. Revolutionaries who speak out and fight against the conditions of society are imprisoned or killed. And we are expected to stand by until they come for us, if they haven't done it already. To this, we say no!

Texas Moratorium Network (TMN) is an all-volunteer, grassroots organization formed in 2000 with the primary goal of mobilizing statewide support for a moratorium on executions in Texas. To accomplish this goal, TMN is engaged in various educational and outreach projects and works closely with other groups devoted to human rights and criminal justice reform, including other non-profit organizations, churches and synagogues, civic organizations and student groups. We believe that significant death penalty reform in Texas, including a moratorium on executions, is a viable goal if the public is educated on the death penalty system and is encouraged to contact their elected representatives to urge passage of moratorium legislation.

We hope that you will join us in this fight for fairness and social justice.
