Blogging has become a worldwide phenomenon. It seems everyone from famous musicians to lonely housewives have blogs. When I first became aware of the blogger explosion I thought it was just another mundane manifestation of our ego-centric and narcissistic culture.
However, coming into contact with posts from very interesting and notable blogs has made me realize how important and engaging a good blog can be. Such a blog can teach and inform. It can allow the reader a window of insight into another person’s existence, a glimpse into another realm of reality.
This is what I hope to achieve with the blog I’m starting today with this first post. I’ve published writings on my website before, but I hope to make this blogging endeavor a more personal and steady experience.
