David Powell is scheduled to be executed in exactly two weeks. I would like everyone to go to his website www.letdavidlive.org and offer any and all support that you can. I recently met with a member of David’s legal team and wrote an affidavit on his behalf, stating that David has been a mentor to many guys here. David has been locked up for 30 years and he has never had a major disciplinary case, nor has he had a single incident of conflict with another prisoner.
He is very far from a “continuing threat to society.” In fact, David is a productive member of society. He has thrived in an extremely hostile and deplorable environment. I could write endlessly about David but I’m sure there is plenty of information up on his website. Go there now and do what you can to help prevent his scheduled execution that is only two weeks away.!
