Indian Dance & Ganesha Boogie

Updated: Apr 9, 2021

There are no visits right now because of the Covid Plague so I cannot release any large pieces of art. All I can send out are very small pieces on paper (that I can mail out). Here are two pieces that I finished recently:

Ganesha Boogie:

This is a Bangra-Jazz fusion abstract interpretation of Ganesha getting his groove on. I meditated on an ancient sculpture of Ganesha and then hit this piece up in the spirit of Zen calligraphy.

Indian Dance/The 36 Tattvas:

Art for me is a way of life. I constantly create and sometimes I will randomly snatch up a pen or colored pencil (or whatever) and start sketching. I will keep these little drawings for years and years. With this piece I saw something similar in a book I was studying on the art of Indian dance. This is my own interpretation. (Well, a new version of an old interpretation).

Even in the midst of chaos and insanity, art must survive in all forms.
